The tool places adverts next to the top 4% of video clips, based on views and engagement. It will help brands maximize their exposure while appearing close to the most engaging content. TikTok ensures that Pulse ads are placed next to verified content. The platform also provides advertisers with campaign measurement tools to analyze:

  • third-party brand sustainability;
  • viewability verification.

Brands will also be able to choose from twelve content categories, which include such relevant themes as beauty, fashion, cooking, gaming, etc. 

The Pulse program’s innovative contextual advertising tools also help TikTok creators to monetize their work in a new way – through a revenue-sharing program. This means that top creators will earn money just by posting relevant content to the app, which is similar to the YouTube partnership. Publishers and influencers with at least 100k followers will be able to participate in the Pulse program
