After two weeks of silence from the start of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, the official representatives of Nintendo have announced that the company suspends all shipping processes of its physical products to Russia. According to the latest eSports news, the company has not mentioned any words about the Russian invasion in the statement.

Nintendo states that this decision was taken due to the upraising difficulties with logistics and the impossibility of shipping the goods correctly. Moreover, all Nintendo eStors are working under maintenance because of the problems of processing payment using the Russian Ruble.

The suspension will last for an uncertain time, and Russian citizens will not be able to buy the physical products of Nintendo, at least for the foreseeable future.

From the company’s side, it was the second move related to the Ukraine-Russia conflict, after it has delayed the release of the game Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.

Many gaming industry giants, like Microsoft, Sony, and CD Project, have already left the Russian gaming market. Moreover, some of these companies send humanitarian relief, and Nintendo was on this list. The company donated $200 000 to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
