I hope to find help here! I'm looking for Chris King (Christopher D. King) and his family. His wife is called Jackie and his daughter Cheryl. They live (or lived) at 16 Greenway in Bishops Lydeard. In 1996 I lived with the Kings for four months as I went to Richard Huish College for a term. Unfortunately, we lost contact in 2002.
Chris worked for the Royal Mail and should be famous in the village. He is is smart and funny person whom everyone loves.
I would be so happy to get in contact with the Kings again. Please let me know if you have any information for me!
Hello everyone, this is really my 1st post on this forum. Firstly would like to say what a lovely village 'BL' is, beautiful scenery, friendly people, a nice homely place!
I was wondering whatever happened with the running of the village library, was it taken over on a voluntary basis or did Somerset Council change plans to close it down? Was also wondering if they are still taking book donations at all?
